Virgin Atlantic Expands Network with New Riyadh and Toronto Routes

In March 2025, Virgin Atlantic made significant strides in expanding its global network by introducing daily flights from London Heathrow to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and resuming services between London Heathrow and Toronto Pearson after a decade-long absence.

The new route to Riyadh marks Virgin Atlantic’s first direct connection to the Saudi capital, enhancing its presence in the Middle East. With Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 driving economic diversification and tourism, the route is expected to cater to both business travelers and those visiting for leisure. The daily service will use Virgin Atlantic’s state-of-the-art fleet, providing passengers with a high-quality travel experience on this long-haul route.

In addition to Riyadh, Virgin Atlantic also restarted its flights to Toronto Pearson, marking the return of the service after a ten-year hiatus. Toronto, one of the largest and most culturally diverse cities in North America, is a key destination for both tourism and business. The resumed service highlights the growing demand for transatlantic travel as global air traffic continues to rebound post-pandemic.

Both routes are part of Virgin Atlantic’s strategic expansion as it strengthens its global network and responds to rising demand in international travel. With these new offerings, Virgin Atlantic continues to cater to a diverse range of passengers, providing convenient connections between the UK and key global destinations.
